Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
To provide user accounts and optimize our services, we collect details in three categories:
- Account & Registration: Name, email address, password hashes, and user settings when you register, log in, or upgrade.
- Tool Payload Data: Files, document payloads, code fragments, or images you upload for conversion, optimization, or parsing.
- Device & Network Data: IP address, user agent, browser brand, operating system, and request metadata generated on user requests.
2. File Retention & Automated Cleanup
We enforce strict file lifecycle rules to protect your sensitive documents:
- Encryption in Transit: All upload processes transmit data securely using HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.3/1.2).
- Instant Deletion: Conversion files are stored temporarily on secure disk volumes during execution. Once the converted output is sent to your device, the file is immediately and permanently unlinked.
- No Backups: We do not save historical copies or database archives of document contents. Files cannot be recovered once processed.
3. Payment Processing
When you subscribe to our Pro plans:
- Payments are handled securely by third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe or PayPal).
- We do not store or process your complete credit card information or security codes on our servers.
- We only receive confirmation of payment, transaction IDs, subscription status, and billing emails.
4. Data Security Guardrails
We use industry-standard measures to protect account information:
- Encryption of passwords using secure cryptographic hashing.
- Role-based access controls, limiting data queries to authorized automated tasks only.
- Use of automated threat detection firewalls to block anomalous crawler access.
5. Cookies & Local Browser Sessions
We utilize cookies to keep you signed in, preserve user settings (such as tool layouts or preferences), and secure session tokens. You can control cookie behavior inside your browser's settings; however, disabling cookies will prevent login features from functioning properly.
6. GDPR, CCPA, and Global Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal account data (including GDPR and CCPA protections):
- Right to Access & Portability: You can request details of the personal data we hold about your account.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request the deletion of your account and personal history records at any time.
- Opt-Out of Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our tools and services are intended for general business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have accidentally collected personal details from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately.
8. Policy Modifications
We may update this Privacy Policy to align with new legal requirements or tool changes. The 'Effective Date' at the top will indicate when the latest revisions took effect. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
